Then, the author compares architects with landscape gardeners. Secondly, architects’ works should work even in the future, their works are slowmoving performance that will keep for a long time. Giving an example for that, the author firstly says that it is impossible to take over the beautiful architecture of a past era, because it becomes false when people can no longer live up to it. The author thinks that architects are similar to theatrical producers in some ways, but their job is much more difficult:ġ) Actors are ordinary people and they may be right and wrong in different situations. The main difference between the sculpture and architecture is utility. Architecture creates a space where we can live. People think that the architecture and Fine arts at all are “beautiful” and judge it by its appereance instead of factors like plan, section, elevations etc. “Experiencing Architecture” starts from the comparison between the architecture, sculpture and painting.
